WEEK_6:_UX_REFINEMENT_AND_VISUAL_IDENTITY_INTEGRATION

Mr. Anton

Designed and developed the Clearance Module UI featuring a real-time progress tracker.
Implemented visual indicators for approval stages (HR, Admin, etc.) to improve transparency.
Resolved critical merge conflicts in previously completed modules to ensure repository stability.
Redesigned the Account Information page from scratch to optimize user flow and information hierarchy.
Conducted an extensive search for brand-consistent Lottie animations for 'No Data Found' states.
Integrated selected Lottie animations across various modules to enhance the empty-state user experience.
Collaborated with the mentor to align the new account UI with the overall system branding.

Clearance Tracking and Conflict Resolution

The week began with a heavy focus on the frontend of the Clearance Module. I designed the interface with the end-user in mind, ensuring they could easily monitor the progress of their requirements—specifically whether their documents were currently pending with HR or had reached final Admin approval. After three days of intensive development on this module, I shifted focus to repository maintenance. I was tasked with resolving significant merge conflicts that had emerged in my earlier modules. This process was essential for maintaining codebase integrity and ensuring my previous features remained compatible with the latest team updates.

UX Overhaul and Brand Animation

Following the technical fixes, I moved into a UX-centric phase. I was tasked with completely redesigning the Account Information page. My approach was to rehaul the entire layout to create a more intuitive user flow, making sensitive information easier to manage. Once completed, I tackled a more creative challenge: sourcing 'No Data Found' animations via Lottie. This proved difficult as it required finding animations that matched our specific corporate branding. I spent a significant amount of time vetting various options to ensure that every empty state across the application now provides a polished, professional feel.

Transitioning from complex logic and merge conflicts to aesthetic refinement highlights the multi-faceted nature of this project. Finding the right balance between functional progress tracking and high-quality visual feedback (like the Lottie animations) is key to making the LMS feel like a premium, finished product.
